4th network meeting 2019 - Development Cooperation made with Germany

New Focus: German and African partnerships

Around 160 participants from seven African partner countries and from Germany - most of them policy makers and high level technical administrative staff - joined our 4th network conference to exchange experiences on key governance issues and initiate partnerships.
 

Place: Representative Office of the Regional State of Bremen in Berlin,

Date: 5th of June 2019, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Objectives of the meeting:

The main objective of this year´s meeting was to bring together German and African partners to exchange views and experiences on key governance issues. Furthermore, we want to:

  • Initiate partnerships between German stakeholders and their African peers
  • Link up the communities (e.g. administrations within the framework of German development cooperation)
  • Identify and preplan future collaborations between the Governance Fonds and African partners in the upcoming new phase of the project
